Boiler Atmospheric Emission Testing
1. Introduction to Boiler Atmospheric Emission Testing
Boiler atmospheric pollutants include smoke dust, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and smoke blackness in boiler flue gas. Pollutant emissions primarily originate from coal-fired, oil-fired, and gas-fired boilers, as well as boilers using fuels such as bagasse, sawdust, rice husks, and bark. The standards can refer to the maximum allowable emission concentrations for atmospheric pollutants from coal-fired boilers specified in this national standard.
2. Testing Items
Particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, Ringelmann smoke blackness, mercury and its compounds
3. Relevant Standards
GB 13271-2014 "Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Boilers" is a national standard formulated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and jointly promulgated with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine to control boiler pollutant emissions and prevent atmospheric pollution. This standard specifies the maximum allowable emission concentration limits for particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, mercury and its compounds in boiler flue gas, as well as smoke blackness limits. It applies to coal-fired, oil-fired, and gas-fired steam boilers with a single output of 65 t/h and below, hot water boilers of various capacities, and organic heat carrier boilers; various capacities of grate-fired boilers and spreader stoker boilers. Boilers using briquettes, coal water slurry, coal gangue, petroleum coke, oil shale, biomass molded fuel, etc., shall refer to the emission control requirements for coal-fired boilers in this standard.
